Questions about all-inclusive cruises?

We want to go on a cruise but would prefer one that is all-inclusive including drinks. Can anyone recommend a cruise line or a website where I can get quotes on prices? Also what are the guidelines on tipping? Would we need to bring any money, besides for when we stop?

For a truly all-inclusive cruise, you’re going to have to look at the luxury cruicruises, which will cost you much more in basic fare than you would pay with a mass-market line plus paying for drinks. Seaborne, Crystal, Radisson, etc. are all-inclusive to some extent. Check their websites.

VacationsToGo.com is an easy site to navigate to get an idea of what’s available. Don’t know how many listings they have for the luxury lines, though. Or just go to one of the "usual" travel websites, e.g. Travelocity, Expedia, etc.

You can get info about cruising at CruiseCritic.com. I think they do have a section devoted to "Luxury Cruising", but I’m not sure what the link is called.

Don’t know what the guidelines are for tipping on the luxury lines – it may be included. On the mass-market lines, it’s about $10 per passenger per day and 15% on drinks. You don’t use money on the ship, but rather give your credit card info for your account and then use your "sail & sign" card for purchases on the ship.
